Our products have been designed to be low maintenance so there is not much for you to do once they are installed. The powder coated aluminium and stainless steel parts are maintenance free outdoor materials. Maintaining the surfaces clean using a mild soapy solution will keep the materials looking at their best for years to come.

Accoya timber parts require a little care from time to time, we provide the timber in a raw, oiled, stained or painted finish. If the timber is left raw it will weather to a silver finish but if you prefer the original or stained colour then we suggest selecting the coated finish or coating it yourself. We recommend re-oiling and staining to prevent cracking and to extend its lifetime.

The locks may require some maintenance over time, please take care when installing the letter box and ensure that no sand, cement or gravel enter the locks as it will impair the working parts. We suggest applying a small amount of lubricant (WD40 or equivalent) to the barrel every 6 months for improved functionality and longevity.

How often you re-coat your timber depends on location, usage and exposure to the elements. We recommend re-coating your timber parts every 12 months to prevent cracking and to extend its lifetime. Javi products that are exposed to open air needs re-coating when rain drops are absorbed by the timber instead of forming small beads on the surface.

All of our letterboxes are fitted with a security lock. Each lock is unique with individual key code.

For users who wish not to use the lock simply open the letterbox and remove the CAM from the back using a spanner to unscrew. Keep the CAM in a safe place in case you wish to use it at a later date.

Keep your keys in a safe place, each set of keys is individual to each lock. Each Key has a number, ensure to note down your key number in case you ever need a replacement key. Replacement keys can be ordered directly from our online store.

Yes the post is included with all of our post mount letterboxes. If you have your own post you wish to use, you can select the post mount letterbox without a post option.

Javi planters have been designed specifically for outdoor use, however they can also be used indoors. The Javi wall planters have drainage holes so they will leak when watered.

Yes, we do the engraving in house so we can engrave a custom option for you. We have created a dynamic font for you which can be CNC machined into your panel.
